We remember our etghth grade skatmg party Floyd Larson rejorned us th1s year and Mrs Edwards trred to drum quletness rnto our heads Donald was caught talktng one day and had to su on Mrs Edward s lap and tell her abou the conversatton In September of 50 a group of 34 started thetr fmal hrgh school clrmb by addrng a new student blondte Barbara Lrndholm and a new homeroom teacher Mr Slawson We were dtvrded tnto two groups one 1n the Conference room and one rn the Lrbrary After Easter vacauon we moved into one of the new rooms 1n the addttron If Mr Slawson caught you talkmg Look out for the erasersl We had our ftrst dance rn May whrch for some reason we called Aprrl Showers and ended the year wrth a class trtp to Lake Morame Durmg the year we lost Carol Duffy Evelyn Chnstran Betty Lou Rose Laurentlne Angel and Lols Bam As Sophomores we welcomed bashful blond hatred Barbara Collrer QI-low trme changes onelj Rolland Hawes and Donald Osborne left school Under the drrectlon of Mrs Mmer we had a dance a skattng party and a trrp to Howe Caverns Bob Sweet rejoined us rn our Jumor year after having left us way back rn the Krnder garten Mr Du Mont was our homeroom teacher and tnsrsted that we be rn our seats rn the Lab when rt was time to take attendance or go see Mrs Roberts We had a round and square dance IH the fall and of course the Jumor Prom whlch we christened Rose Garden 1n the sprlng The Journeymen furn1shed the mustc Thrs year we mrssed Allan Comnell and Rlchard B1ce Our Semor year started off wtth a Bang We had a dance IH the fall for money rarsrng purposes and at the present trme we are preparlng for our Semor Play and our Class Trrp at Easter Graduatron IS our ultrmate goal Let us hope that we are ready for what 15 to come The past rs forever gone and the future IS yet to come CLASS POE M S WE FRESHMEN Barbara Carol Talbot Here we are Freshmen at last All our grade lxfe now IS past Only three more years of school And we can forget the golden rule My how proud we were rn the seventh grade Our srxth grade memorres began to fade In the erghth grade we were prouder strll For Iumor I-hgh was strll a thrrll ltked our teachers rrght up through, And I guess for the most part they liked us too Now we have some more new teachers I guess, for us they should be preachers Some of us l1ke sports rn the fall Others would rather f11rt rn the hall Some 11ke muslc and that sort of thing, Others would rather dre than smg.
