MR. MICHAEL B. LOHMAIER One of the lithographers who started in the days of the old stone litho process, Mr. Lohmaier began his work with the Mc- Millan Lithography Company in 1899. After thirty-one years in the trade, he came to teach at Edison Tech in 1930. His deep interest in the graphic arts field had an important influence on Edison boys over a period of a quarter of a century. Mr. Lohmaier was well-known as one of Rochester's top bowlers, having maintain- ed an average well over 180 for many years. He was active in the supervision of the Interscholastic League and helped de- velop many of our top keglers at Tech. Michael B. Lohmaier will live on in the memory of the many who have felt his in- fluence down through the years. IN MEMUIZIADI MR. JoHN J. HoBLocK For nearly ten years Mr. John J. Hob- lock served as a teacher and head of, the Electric Department of Edison Tech. Dur- ing this time Mr. Hoblock developed an electrical program of extremely high cali- ber with great emphasis on the technical aspects of the subject. Mr. Hoblock was well qualified for the job by his early training. He held an elect- rical engineering degree from Rensselaer and a master's degree from Cornell. For fourteen years prior to coming to Tech he had served as a high school principal in two different school system. Edison Tech's program has been greatly enriched through the efforts of Mr. John J. Hoblock. His friendliness and enthusiasm will long be remembered by all who knew him.

MR. HARRY J. SPRAGUE: It is our nope and purpose in dedi- a eating this book to you, to give thanks for your thirty-seven years of service and all the help our class has received from you. In the three years you were Guidance Counselor to our class, you and the class became well acquainted. However, one didn't have to have you as Guidance Counselor, to work with you. All anyone had to do was participate in a service for the school, and he would come under your jurisdiction. The Traflic Squad, Service Corps, Students Association, student elections, letter awards, and all fund raising drives have been charged to your care, and you have organized them well. Beside all of these, you have found time to develop bowling to a high degree here at Edison and have taken charge of high school bowling for the entire city. Where you ever get the energy, we'll never know! With this dedication, we salute you!
