The wins were over East and Marshall. The games lost were by small margins except the Batavia game. The squad ended up in third place in the Eastern division and in sixth place in the overall standings in the All-scholastic League. Jim Backus made the All-scholastic First team picked by the Times Union and the Democrat and Chronicle Sports Scribes. He made eleven touchdowns for the season, and was second highest scorer in the league. Jack Gerew, in the punting department, and Norman Lewandowski, with hispowerhouse charging, were also outstanding. Co-captains were Backus and Lewandowski.
