IN RETROSPECT It seems that only three and a half years ago We, two hundred and sixty-live strong, came marching through the portals of Edison Tech - the school which was to be our home for the best four years of our lives . We remember distinctly our freshman year. It was then that we first had the honor of joining the S. A. C., and of having a social chat with Mr. Coe. We were proud to be members of a school whose sports activities were so well known. That year Tech athletes suffered only one loss in football, took second place in crosscountry, and were the Interscholastic Champions in bowling, wrestling, and track. During our sophmore and junior years we continued to fight and win many additional honors. These years saw the develop- ment of the individual champions of today, in both athletics and scholarship. It was then that we were introduced to the plans which, if properly executed, would enable us to spend a few mom- ents each period enjoying a smoke or a cup of coffee. Unfortun- ately, this was the exception rather than the rule and the majority had to be satisfied with swiping lunches and throwing erasers in our classes. Now, as seniors on the threshold of graduation we look back upon these acts as foolish and unnecessary. We find ourselves fac- ed with a possible World War III and a grave realization that soon, many of our fellow classmates may be our fellow service- men on the battlefields of the world. Taxing our optimistic view- points to the limit, we are looking forward to a better world free from worry and strife, and we leave but three short words to the students remaining, Do your best l
