Norma -Barfels and Alberfa Schuler ran a very close race for secrefary: Norma Barfels was finally elecfed. On February fhe fwenfy-second, fhe Sfu- clenf Body again 'rrudged fo fhe audiforium expecfing fo hear fhe usual fype ofaplea for B sfudenf supporf. Imagine fheir surprise when four clever presidenfial speeches and seven secrefarial speeches were given. This elec- fionjwas so close fhaf none of fhe candidafes received a maiorify of 'rhe vofes. lf was necessary fo revofe, wfh Margaref Harf and Wayne Smifh as candidafes for fhe presi- dency. Esfher Bradford and Beffy Maloffe were compefing for fhe office of secrefayry. Mr. Kunfz has fhirfy-one boys who are on dufy during 'rhe firsf lunch period, and 'eighfeen boys who are working during fhe second lunch period. Mrs. Brown assigns fheisfu- denfs who assisf fhe clerks in fhe offices. These sfudenfs work in fhe principal's office, fhe boys' and girls' vice-principals' offices, fhe book room, fhe library, fhe sfudenfs' sfore, and fhe cafeferia. Each, office- has a supervisor who is ,chosen from fhe workers of each period.
