The 1987 Sno-Daze week broke tradition by being held in March instead of the usual month of January. With work being done on the auditorium, the variety show wouldn’t be held until almost two months later. It will always be remembered as the snowless Sno-Daze. Regardless of what month, Sno-Daze would have virtually been a snowless one because the 86-87 winter was practically tropical, for Minnesota, with very little snow cover. In spite of the changes, Sno-Daze went on as it traditionally has at Edison High School. The week consisted of opposite sex day, day of darkness, twin day. summer day. and blue gold day. On Wednesday. Dan Fowlds won the snowball eating contest (the Hostess variety). The week ended with the variety show and coronation as Dave Preese and Andrea Kozlak were crowned king and queen. Later that evening we had the traditional Sno-Daze carnival and dance featuring Edison alumni, the band, the Hip-Tones. Ilf'S 1II IK IE HEAVEN Top: Andrea Kozlak is crowned by last years king.
