God spell is a light and lively version of the gospel according to St. Matthew. Edison's production was staged in a circus tent, complete with ladders, rings and even a calliope. Memorable songs include the famous •Day by Day . ‘All Gods Gifts'.'On the Willows and many more. ft takes a good eight weeks to produce a full-length musical • building sets, sewing fitting costumes, learning lines and staging the play. But on opening night, when that curtain goes up. all cast and crew members will readily admit - • It was WORTH IT! » ■ ■ f ■ Above: O.K. Roger. David, Michael.
