After the Bell Student life is more than going to class and hitting the books. It is a time of strengthening old friendships and developing new ones. It's a time when one can grow in all aspects of life by belonging and participating. We remember clearly the Homecoming show, the hour-long gossip sessions, and that first blast of winter. Holiday excitement filled the air at the Mistletoe Dance. Winter vacation found us frolicking in the snow. Oh. what a Sno Daze! First seventeen inches fell then on Carnival Day nineteen more caused all of our events to be postponed. Spring, along with its freshness and warmth, brought “Seniori-tis,” Senior Banquet, and Prom. Our memories of 1982 will not only include the fun during class time but also that which begins after the bell rings. The Melodies Linger On The spring of 1981 was a busy time for (he music department. After auditions and many months of practice, The Music Man. a broadway musical, was presented in April. An appearance by Stan Freese of Disneyland, the Skccts Trio, and Brass Incorporated highlighted the band's spring performance. These outstanding shows will be long remembered. 20
