SUMMER BAND Band was busy this year starting with the street marching season. From June to August, Edison received 9 second places out of 10 parades. From September to October, the Marching Band worked on a field show for the Oct. 22 Vikings-Green Bay game at the Mets. The Edison band was also chosen to play at a Democratic Convention for President Jimmy Carter. 28
