King Dan On Monday, October 10, the five King and Queen finalists were chosen. Cheryl Anderson, Tonia Hattouni, Cheryl Invie, Cathy Marchiafava, and Liz Martin were Queen finalists. King finalists were Steve Bartlett, Rick Bickford, Dan Kuch, Gary Maciej, and Pat Rossi. At the end of Thursday's Homecoming production, the royalty were wheeled up to the stage and introduced. Gillian Patterson (Edison's AFS student) crowned Dan Kuch as King and last year's Queen, Sandy Blosberg, crowned Cheryl Anderson as the 1977 Homecoming Queen. 27

Halloween Dance On the night of October 28, the wind howled and the moon was full. Edison students disguised in their creative costumes, gathered together at the annual Halloween dance sponsored by the Pep Club. Dave Bishop dressed as a magician and Sandy Maher dressed as the Big Bird were honored with trophies for the best costumes. Music was provided by ECLIPSE.
