Edison has undergone many changes this year. The new gym has opened the door for better sports facilities and for both school and community activities. The library is presently expanding and will include audio-visual facilities, study booths, and a conference room. The lunchroom was redesigned to facilitate the new lunchroom, which includes pre-packed food and also a salad bar. Due to the construction on our new field, the football team had to play their games away. Having the Homecoming assembly at night, enabled more of the community and alumni to attend. A tradition-breaking change was the two main assemblies, Homecoming and Sno Daze. A King and Queen were crowned at each assembly. As we look around and notice the different sights, styles, ideas, and atmosphere, we have to admit 1978 was a year of change!
