CHORAL CLUB MUSICAL The Musical given by the Choral Club was titled THE GUY FROM VENUS. The musical was about a girl named Linda who took over the position as head of Stacey's Department Store. Linda encountered many problems with the Amalgamated. They were trying to take over Stacey's Department Store. Meanwhile a creature from Venus named Don Starr tried to help Linda during the short time he was here on earth. Don Starr ended up falling in love with Linda. Jack, Linda's boyfriend, became jealous of Don Starr and wanted Linda all for himself. The musical was given on Friday. SENIOR BANQUET Hours to Remember was the theme of the Senior Banquet held at Arthur’s on March 7. The banquet was planned by Jim Pettit, ArMand Nelson, Kelly Thompson. Nannctte Unruh. Connie Kelley. Gloria Hedler, and Nancy Brecht. Dinner was served at 7:00. The menu included salad, milk, baked potatoc, and a choice of chicken, prime rib, or shrimp. The chicken and shrimp were excellent, but the prime rib was a little on the rare side. A short program followed, and the Hall of Fame was announced. The emcees were Brad Earley and Kirby Johnson. A short speech was also given by principal Melvin Grimstad. At 9:00 the lights were turned down and the dance started. Music was provided by Twin City Disco. Students relaxing after dinner.
