SADIE HAWKINS DANCE The Sadie Hawkins dance has become very popular at old E.H.S. because it is one chance a girl has to ask her favorite fellow to a social activity. Doors opened at 8:00 o'clock and the chase was on. Males got a five second head start and some were still running at 9:00 o'clock at which time the Li'l Abners had to stop or be subject to arrest by police officers Jeanette Johnson. Eddie Anderson, and Jim Bullcigh. By this time the Marryin' Sams; Mr. Crecnburg and Mrs. Johnson, were busy ''hitching couples. This year each couple got two licenses, two rings and a marriage ceremony for 50 cents. Later, students had their photos taken, ate cheese and sausage, danced and admired each other's costumes. Music was provided by Kite. Winner of the best costume was Donna Smahcl. The puppy was won by Simon Morrison and the turkey was won by Bill Lundccn. Daisy Mae and Li'l Abner awards went to seniors; Karen Larsen and Ray Mochinski, juniors: Colleen Hublc and Al Mundy, sophomores: Janine Lourey and Bob Leitschuh. November 19 was a night to remember. Pat Dickson Tom Miskowic Snackers sampled cheese, sausage and dill pickles. Kim Weiner and Denise Tokar 18 Sadie Hawkins
