Dedication Mr. Lunkley is one of those rare people who are capable of commanding respect and inspiring friendship at first contact. Since 1939, when he came to Edison, he has succeeded in developing our bands into outstanding organizations which have received high ratings in district and state music contests. In addition to his school activities, Mr. Lunkley has numerous interests. An excellent trumpeter, he has played with the Minneapolis Symphony, several dance bands, the Ice Follies band, and many others. Recently he was appointed director of the Park Board band. Among his many interests, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and traveling. To a successful teacher, who has helped others to learn and to appreciate; to an accomplished musician, who has provided excellent example; to a warm friend, who has given wise counsel—this 1960 WIZARD is respectfully dedicated.
