As an instructor, he led us through the trials of physics, he entertained us as the emcee of many assemblies, and as a coach and athletic director, he helped to assure the success of our teams. But best of all, he is a friend to everyone, always ready with a smile, quip, or word of advice. This friendliness and his easy sense of humor have endeared him to students and faculty alike.
