DISON HIGH is a combination of both junior and senior high schools, with one person, Mr. Samuelson, as its principal. His duties are many and varied. He is primarily responsible for anything which takes place in the school, and is vested with power from the Board of Education. Any contacts be- tween the community and the school are completely in his hands. Very often he offi- ciates at school assemblies or introduces those in charge. Our assistant principal, Mr. lanes, arranges the schedule of classes for teachers and stu- dents. Anyone needing to be excused from classes must get permission from Mr. lanes. One of his most unpleasant jobs is handling student discipline. Many of us are confronted with the prob- lem as to what subjects to take, or what we are going to do after we graduate. We are very fortunate at Edison to have Miss An- drews and Mr. Knox, who help us plan our subjects. Miss Andrews advises seventh, ninth, and eleventh grades this year, and Mr. Knox advises eighth, tenth, and twelfth grades. Mr. Knox is also in charge of all locks, and Miss Andrews gives the college aptitude tests and other educational tests. EDDIS E. IANES, Assistant Principal 7fnou9fa ow. ew, gh saga Wm HELEN ANDREWS Counselor KENNETH KNOX Counselor
