'f' Seated: Miss Dorothy Wallace, Miss Frances Cowan, Miss Florence Fisch, Standing: Miss Mildred Ward, Miss Helen Rogers, Mr. Peter Mankowski, Miss Grace Garland, Miss Birdella Ross la game Miss Wallace, adviser of the Student Council Vaude- ville, teaches magazine and Shakespeare. ln addition to teaching English, Miss Cowan is adviser of the senior class and the National Honor Society. Mr. Mankowski, assistant tootball coach, teaches English and creative writing. Beside teaching speech, drama, radio, and Seated: Miss Mae Schmidt Standing: Miss Sophie Albinson , uvzdte wed... English, this year Miss Garland directed both a senior and a iunior class play, a Christmas play, and other dramatic productions. Miss Fisch, Miss Ross, and Miss Ward teach tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade English, whereas Miss Schmidt and Miss Albinson have ninth ,grade English. Miss Johnson, Latin Club adviser, Miss Sorenson, German Club adviser, and Mrs. Kellner, ad- viser of the French and Spanish Clubs, teach English as well as their respective languages. Wiestliiig is coached by Mr. Kemp. Miss Leary, Miss Deverell, Miss Bengtsson, Mrs. Piilin, Mr. Ludloid, and Mr. Kemp teach common learne ingis, a iunior high course that is a combination of history and English. Beside teaching mathematics, Mrs. l. Olsen is cliairnian of the Lost and Found Committee, Mi. Bruning is adviser of the Chess and Checker Club, Mis, lair so Olsen, Mr. George Bruning, Miss Edna Glenn xxx and Miss Glenn is adviser of the Junior Red Cross. Mr. Parsons teaches general science and is assistant football and basketball coach. Mrs. Michelson, who is editorial adviser of the Edison Record, teaches English and news writing. Mrs. V.
