Miss Ballou has advised many ninth grade students, through thoir study of community life problems. how to plan their futures . . . her hobbles are knitting and crocheting . . . reads a variety cf things . . . Ukes to run up mileage on her car .. . made 16.000 miles since April '36. Mrs. Buckle makes us learn and love our history . .. has supplemented her already vast knowledge by traveling In tho Wost . . . especially studying the .Mexican and Indian . . . spends hor extra time In reading and gardening . . . and playing with her dog. Mr. Curran famUiarly and affectionately known as Pop” . . . has created an interest in debating and now advises Edison's debate club . . . reads biographies ol great mon . . . likes auto-mobiling and gardening. Mrs. Curry -Edison's greatest pal and cheer-leader ... in fact has charge of appointing cheerleaders . . . but by all means, doesn't lot them do all the work . . . her Interest in sports of all kinds explains this abounding enthusiasm . . . basketball, howovor. is her favorite. Miss Donovan our personal nomination as a magnUicently thorough history teacher . . . she enjoys a wido variety of historical and modern reading ... is extremely fond of walking . . . good movies, a game of cards, or dancing lessons attract her equally . . . lovos traveling so much that she sells books in the summer to get the opportunity to see our state.
