Currs IV KING once wished to erect in his land a beautiful temple. It could be built only by music. Every subject who could play longed to ,sound the magic chords that would build the temple. Each went to the spot, played and hoped, but no temple appeared. Then one day some one thought that if all played together they might produce such harmony as no single player. could. All came to the appointed place, each bent over his instrument, each forgot himself in thinking only of the result all longed for. Such melody filled the air as had not before been heard. Lol the temple stood before them! Not unlike these musicians are those who Work in Edison. They too are trying to erect a temple. Each teacher has his own subject, but each, while trying to hold the pupils to a high standard in his own lield, under- stands that other subjects have their contribution to the educational symphony which is to build a better and better life out of the material of youth. Only devotion of self to the great cause can make Edison a school in which those who teach and those who are taught are fired by a common ideal. More and more g'One for all, and all for one! marks the spirit of the Edison faculty. ADELAIDE BER. Twenty -One
