The group sponsored a magazine sale and Christmas dance for the purpose of buying ten new uniforms. The sixty- three bandmen participated in the Purdue broadcast, spring concert, Memorial Day parade, and gradu- ation exercises. Many members entered the regional solo contest, and won their share of awards. —

THIRD ROW: Jane Carter, Mary Ann Fleming, President; Donna Day, Secretary; Mary Mott, Margret Wells, Adele Freville, Loretta Riley, Betty Ann Wilson, Olive Richardson. The Glee Club was organized in 1942 for the girls particularly interested in vocal music. The members sponsored several dances; they presented an operetta, MARGIE GOES MODERN, and their annual Valentine program. The group furnished music for Christmas, P.T.A., Baccalaureate, and Commencement.
