Science Classes Take Field Trips Field trips were on the agenda for science students. IVlr. Theodore StoII's advanced biology class went to the National Aeronautics and Space Ad- ministration Research Center in San- dusky, Ohio, along with lVlr. David Grimm's advanced chemistry class. The advanced chemistry class also went to the Henry Ford lVluseum and Greenfield Village in Dearborne, lVlich- igan, and also the Sunoco Oil Refinery in Toledo, Ohio. The physics class went to the Museum of Science and Technology in Columbus, Ohio. A new course, intermediate science curriculum study ll.S.C.S.l, was offer- ed under the direction of lVIr. Howard Yunghans. The course was designed for the students to work at their own speed, and all of the sciences were in- volved in the curriculum. l l 3' UPPER RIGHT: Seniors Bruce Kinnard and 'Rob Johnson await results of an advanced biology experiment. Soph. English Classes Team Taught Sophomore English classes were team taught by Mr. David Kile, Miss Sophia Purcell, Miss Phyllis Frost, and Mr. Rex Stanforth last year. It was the first time in which this had been done. The start of team teaching began a few years ago with American history and literature, which is still being team taught by Miss Purcell and Mr. John Feyedelem. Mr. Stanforth, who also teaches speech, added drama- tics to the school curriculum last year also, before, he was teaching drama in his Speech ll classes.
