f,fN Il L rf begin , u gif f 3: On the morning of lVlay 19 it was a cafeteria. By noon it was a mass of crepe paper and a tangle of ladders with students working energetically to- ward the completion of Childhood lVlemories. The transition from cafeteria to a dreamland was completed by 8:00 and was made possible by the work and planning of the Junior class of Edi- son High School with Lindy Agee as social chair- man, and lVIrs. lVlargery Lindecamp, and lVlr. Jim Whittington as faculty advisers. Entertainment started off the evening with the Mach 4 performing variations of slow moving music. lntermissions provided Warner Brother Cartoons. Throughout the evening refreshments were served by the Junior class mothers. The moods of childhood memories were set by cartoon characters arranged systematically around the cafeteria and the auditorium. Olive Oil, Dumbo, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were featured as lifesize characters with cartoon paint- ings on the walls. Center table decorations pro- vided suckers which gave the students a chance to go back into their childhood memories. After Prom entertainment was held at Jolly Lanes, Bellevue, Ohio, where recreational facil- ities were provided.
