Students Get Spirit of '72 Homecoming To get the spirit of everyone moving for the Home- coming October 20-21, a bonfire and pep rally were returned to the festivities this year. They were held the night before the game at the high school athletic field with everyone enjoying cider and doughnuts served by the Edison Athletic Boosters. ln addition to this, the usual crowning of the Queen and the dance were held. On the crisp and rainy October day of Edison's Homecoming, Marilyn Cline took the crown as Queen. Marilyn and her court were presented to the public prior to the high-scoring win over Western Reserve. This year the student body and the football teams chose lVlarilyn to represent Edison High School as their Queen. Her court consisted of seniors, Kathy Likes and Penny Krenzerp junior, Patti Brunowp soph- omore, Judy Spoerrp and freshman, Suzi Lambert. To the beat of The Thief a large crowd enjoyed the Homecoming Dance held in the school cafeteria the evening of October 21. Planning of the festivities were headed by the Stu- dent Council and advised by lVIr. lVlichael Schifer with members of the Senior Class participating. Finances of the dance were shared between the Student Coun- cil and the Class of '73.
