Progress was being made on the athletic complex, but due to the lack of funds completion was not near. Again for the 1972-73 school year the one-mill capital improvement levy was defeated. There were 537 students enrolled in Edison High School with 54 students attending Ehove. In the Senior class there were 126 with 26 at Ehove. Sopho- more class numbered 139 with one at Ehove. All the 127 Freshmen attended Edison High. Six new teachers joined Edison High School fac- ulty. They were lVlr. Steven Schauer, lVlr. Thomas Fer- guson, lVlr. Richard Taylor, lVlr. Howard Yunghams, lVlr. James Whittington, and Nlrs. Lynette Cole. Changes in curriculum saw sophomores included in the reading lab classes, and there were quarter classes for grade ten English. A dramatics class and a music appreciation for juniors and seniors were added. LEFT: Mr. C. J. Lindecamp, superintendent. RIGHT: lVlr. Mike Shifer, guidance counselor.
