The first, WELCOME TO THE MONKEY HOUSE, by Curt Voongret, portrayed a community theater group that produced four different plays inside the one. The second, THE DlARY OF ANNE FRANK, was based on the diary of a young Jewish girl hiding in an Amsterdam attic with one other family besides her own during the Germany Occupation of World War ll. The Drama Club also presented three one-act plays for the Spring Art Show. The Edison Drama Class, produced two children's plays as well as helping direct the one acts for the Art Show. One of the main goals of the Drama Club this year was to make as much money as possible to go toward a light system and a curtain for the stage.
