And as the evening darkens, lo! how bright, Through the deep purple of the twilight air Beams forth the sudden radiance of its light, With strange, unearthly splendor in its glare! The Senior class of 1973 presented to Edison High School a painting of the Marblehead lighthouse in memory of Patty and John. TOP LEFT: Patricia Ann Cassidy was born July 15, 1955, and died April 3, 1967. Patty was a friend to everyone and her hobbies included sewing, cooking, horseback riding, and collecting stuffed animals. BOT- TOM LEFT: John Brown Russell Ill was born on December 3, 1954, and died on September 26, 1970. John was active in Rifle Club, and golf in high school. His other hobbies included sailing, swimming, and chess.
