Eagles Go to the Movies: the Senior ' s theme for their Homecoming hall.

Eagle Star Wars Homecoming week was filled with excitement and enthusiasm. The windows of local businesses were painted in a variety of colors . Spirit was everywhere as the students scrambled to make their float the best . The theme was Star Wars and the Juniors captured the first prize . Closely behind were the Seniors with their spaceship. There was a frantic effort for all classes to finish their hall decorations , with the Juniors winning first place. The fun days were Hat Day, T-Shirt Day, Inside -Out Day, and Spirit Day. The Seniors triumphed at the Powder Puff Game which is always an enjoyable event . Khris Molchan was crowned the Powder Puff King . On Friday there was a noisy pep session with the Seniors winning the spirit trophy. After the parade, everyone watched as the Eagles massacred the Knox Redskins. D espite a heavy rainfall, the nominees for Homecoming Queen looked beautiful. The spectators nervously waited the announcement of Homecoming Queen. There were shrieks of joy as Sandy Kincheloe was crowned by Tammy Cherry, 1976 Queen. After the game everyone boogied at the sockhop. The formal dance on Saturday night concluded Homecoming activities . It was a special evening for everyone. Homecoming 1977, the year of spirit and enthusiasm, will be long remembered.
