Pep sessions send school spirits high 1. Student Council president, Doug Cochran is in charge of Home- coming Pep sessions. 2. Junior Class celebrates Homecoming by having a Farmers Day. 3. Freshmen boys struggle to win the tug-of-war. 4. Beth Eaton, plays the scarecrow, Jolynn Koontz plays Dorothy, and April Heims plays Todo in a Victory Skit.

We had been waiting a long time and we were becoming quite impatient. It seemed as if it would never arrive and suddenly it was here and no one was ready. After all the weeks of working on our hall projects and floats we finally realized nothing was done. Homecoming ’74 had caught us unpre- pared. There were last minute things to do — about a hundred of them. But we made it. Everything went well and fell into its proper place starting with the Fighting Eagles leading at halftime 7-6. The seniors proved to be the dominant class by winning both hall project and float. Sophomores took the award for hall decoration. The honor every senior girl dreams of was announced next as Nancy Novkovic was crowned Homecoming queen for 1974. Soon the team returned to the field bringing with them renewed strength and the victorious score of 21-12 which was the proper finale to an exciting week. . N.
