Freshman, Urient ation As the freshmen arrived at ESC, they ran the gamut of mixed emotions and were eager to give 1-ollege life a whirl. What was the first iiupuvl? Freshman Orien- tation. Dinks and placards were required and had two specific pur- poses: They served to emphasize the recognition between the frosh and the upperelassmen and gave them eavh an opportunity to know each other. As the days progressed the trvsliiiie-ri het-miie aeolimated to their new environment, the ad- ministration and faculty. campus buildings and the rules that had to he rc-vognized.
