This dream of many facts encompasses the development of mature inclivicluals qualified to portray constnic- tive roles in the world community as thoughtful. artieulate persons of judgment and wide education. His goals are not concerned only with brilliance in intellectual attainments, both academic and scientific, but also with personal values that pre- pare students to cope with the vicissitudes of life, that produce sound social attitudes, emotional maturity and continued growth in cultural refine- ment. Dr. Millerls nine years of planning and guidance reflect a 285-acre campus replete with modern buildings housing students, providing up-to-date classrooms and greatly enlarged literary and scien- tific facilities. Dr. Miller's master plan includes assiduous devotion to curriculum enrichment and even-better prepared faculty members. Thus the President is interested in bringing to Edinboro the physical and educational means which produce a climate of culture, a community of scholarship in which students have the maxi- mum opportunity to make hopes realities, enrich their lives, form wholesome prospectives and de- velop their characters and open new worlds.
