Howardl Griffin, Class of 1947, who was the first Eainl boro Graduate to fall on the Korean Battlefield. Howard was active in many campus organ- izations and an able athlete while at college. After being graduated from Edinboro, he taught at Bradford High School where he was on the coaching staff. Aveteran of World War 11, Howard had been in Korea only two weeks before he was killed on September 19, 1951. 5
