The results were: Mark Williams, president, Dick Graham, vice-president, Pat Reclier, secretaryg and Rose Trimble, treasurer. Plans were immediately begun for the Freshman float-a huge dink made entirely of Kleenex flowers carried on a horse-drawn wagon. The next class project was the Sweetheart Ball commemorating Valentine's Day. Ruling the ball were the Sweethearts, Janet Conrad and Bob Finley, with their court of live girls and boys. GROVE CITY 99 Football Edinboro's rampaging Raiders showed an all-season record of three wins and four losses. Edinboro rooters were thrilled when McCornb's men battled against Clarion for their first victory. The outweighed Raiders took a 39-17 beating from Slippery Rock. Bad breaks at the Indiana and Thiel games kept the scores from indicating the brand of ball E. S. T. C. was really playing. Brockport was left behind in a third quarter tieup, when a flurry of TD's accounted for a 42-14 victory. At muddy Mansfield, Dixon scored a touchdown for the Raiders in.the second period and converted to make the score 7-6. The Edin- boro men stopped a desperate last ditch enemy drive, and the game ended with that score. The Edinboro spectators will not soon forget the 1950 season or the hard fighting players for whom they cheered. 90 Soccer Red Zeiler, senior center forward, starred as the soccer team displayed its lighting spirit against strong opponents. Dependables such as Muto, Sabatini, Nicolls, and Koshute d tl ma e 16 games a far cry from the picture the scores seem to indicate. Thrills of the season when highly-favored Wheaton booters were held to a tie and when the Raiders dominated the play in a win over Indiana. Swimmin The Raider Du cks swam their way to a very outstanding season of seven wins and five losses. Six college records and three 1 poo records were broken during the season as well as three pool rec- ords at other colleges. Free-styler Chuck Cross was a favorite as he scored 95 points throughout the year. The Edinboro swimmers proved their excellence by lacin P 3 second in the Penn-Ohio meet, missing First place by one lowly point.
