It is with mingled feelings that we look back on our first days at Edinboro. Then Gr - ax: f fif 4 an 2155 , 1 5 h - 1 , I , 'Z , A ,- if 9 , , 4 . ' M..- Svvninr Qllaaa ikiatnrg we were Juniors, shy, and even we will admit that we were as green as almost any other incoming class. Now we are Seniors, ready to graduate, and have become dignified and self-possessed. There has been a change, a great change, and what is it that has done this thing? Of course we all remember the Class of '22 and their help in making us acquainted with the school where we were to spend the better part of the next two years. Who could forget the serenades and the proposed snipe hunts that greeted us when we first arrived? Who could forget those various orders into which We were initiated,-The K. K. K., The Saffron Canine, etc. Certainly we will not forget. And then the Fall Wel- come! It was on this day that we saw the last of Edinboro football and then enjoyed one of her best dances. Such a day was all that was needed to complete our acquaint- ance with Old Edinboro and her ways and customs. There are many things that should be mentioned here but we must not think too deeply now. Do we remember the Halloween dance? We surely do! Even the proud Seniors admitted that we had given a very successful party. Among the many experi- ences that we had during the next few months, there was one which still stands far above all others. Does anyone guess? MUMPS! Aye, there were many swelled heads at Edinboro those days. Even thcse of our number who did not succumb to the ignoble affliction will remember the days that we spent on the campus looking off. When com- mencement rolled around,-were we sorry? Yes, in some ways we were. The Seniors were to go and we were to lose their company and their friendships. But with Class Day we became more cheerful. Every Junior walked a little straighter than he had before. At last we are Seniors. We came to Edinboro with more assurance this last fall than we did the year before, and we hope that we helped to make the latest crop of Juniors feel at hc-me here at Edinboro. NVe Well know, now, why Seniors should be proud and dignified, in fact, we believe that we are that Way ourselves. It is true that certain members of our revered faculty still try to teach us about Messrs. Alcuin, Bobbit Ka Co. but it is doubtful if they are highly successful. We feel that we are surfeited of knowledge. We are walking on air. We are Seniors! Graduation is before us and into our exuberance creeps a new note of something akin to sorrow. We are about to leave Edinboro. When we go we will have, to take with us, a knowledge that we have accomplished many things and that we have formed friendships that will last longer than the short time we spend at school. 4229
