SUMMER sensational School was out and the mad frenzy of summer had begun To some Edina students that meant enjoying the simple pleasures of Minneapolis. Favorite activities included biking, walking, and sTjftbathmg around Minneapolis' share of 10.000 lakes. Downtown shopping excursions. Aquatennial festivities. movie-going, trips to the Boundary Waters, and even some sight seeing were other alternatives. One school-organized tour, the European Insight Tour, brought students to eight countries in three weeks The purpose was to give them a knowledge of other cultures. Richard Benham, who was injured in contest, awkwardly hobbled down the procession and took a stilted bow before his lordship. After all the king’s ladies and all the king’s men had taken their seats, the tension began to build. Returning Queen Chapman commenced to choose the new reigning king.
