Rrchard Vaske and hrs commtttee wrote the class hrstory He made the hrstory seem 11ke a trtp on a rocket sh1p as the group passed through the twelve grades The ten peo ple who started 1n the class rn 1954 were Bobby Carnrcle Robert Gates Janrce Hansel Glenda Hartbeck Gene Hrnes Jeanette Jewell Calvrn McCallum Jan Neuhaus Drana Chapman and Anne Trlp Mrs Stensbol was the teacher In the second grade the teacher was Elste LutJens and as Blarr Berens Jorned the class Jan and Calvrn left tt Donna Orr was the thud grade teacher and tlus year Raymond Nagel and Larry Llghty Jotned the cla ss but Blarr left rt The class roll remamed the same ln the fourth grade but the class had two teachers Mrss Orr and Arlene Wolf In the fifth grade Larry Llghty left the class and Davrd Cle men A udrey Smock and Eugene Wrlcox Jomed rt Thelma Estllng was the teacher In the S1.XIh grade Blalr Berens returned to the class Mrs Wolf was the teacher and Robert Gates and Eugene Wllcox left us New faces rncluded John Pape Betty Dryer and Darlene Maser Bema Rrzer also Jo1ned the group at th1s trme Nona Zearley was our teacher 1n the seventh and erghth grades We added Larry Taken 1n the seventh grade and Janrce and Phyllrs Jones rn the e1ghth Audrey left the group whrle rn the seventh grade and Davrd Betty and Darlene left ln tne erghth grade Durmg the mnth grade Gene Burton and Ava Brown were the class sponsors and the Strang Sylvester Kafer Rrchard Landrs Martlyn Teed Joyce Kruger and Rlchard Vaske Lanny Kramer Jotned the group rn the tenth grade and Marrlyn left Sopho more sponsors were John Davrs and Marven Brase We added Karen Payne and Darlene Dettbarn to the group for one year only our Junror year Mr Sander and Mrss Swede were our Junror sponsors Came the senror year wrth Mr Randall and Mr Chrrstensen as sponsors and two most excrtrng events the Jumor Semor banquet and the Chrcago trrp Those attendrng all twelve years were Bobby Carnlcle Glenda Hartbeck Jeanette Jewell Gene Hlnes Anne Trlp and Drana Chapman These frve frmshed wrth the hrghest grade pornt averages and rn thls order Jeanette Jewell Raymond Nagel Rrch ard Vaske Berna Rrzer and Joyce Kruger Our class colors were blue and s1lver our class motto Wrth the ropes of the past we wrll rmg out the bells of the future and our class flower was the var1egated carna tron 1n yellow and whrte Durrng our senror year Leo Helle Jr served as class presrdent Raymond Nagel as vrce presrdent Glen Bassett as secretary and Berna Rrzer as treasurer H O I ' l I I I 1 . new members of the class were: Glen Bassett, Cecilia Chopard, Leo Helle, Jr., James ' : ' . ,
