Mrs. Maude Dodge, who is the vice president of the Board, has been a member since 1920. During those 21 years she has played a prominent part in the planning and development of our school today. Dr. George Springer, who has been president of the Board for several years, became a member in 1929. He is also serving as a member of the County Board of Education. Mr. M. L. Montgomery is now serving his seventh year on the board. He has served in the capacity of President and has always been greatly interested in the ac- tivities and progress of our school. Mr. Harvey Streiber has been a clerk of the Board of Education and has always been a hard worker for the success and progress of our educational problem. Mr. Paul Callender is now serving his seventh year as a member of the board, having' first been appointed in 1932 and re-elected in 1936. Mr. W. H. Scherman has been on the board since 1937.
