T KE M C A Wuso o Hu Pmucx DAGGBT F Ilback Tac I Lmemen and Reserves The backs were greatly a1ded IH ga1n1ng yardage by means of an average l1ne possess1ng abundant speed W1DChCStCf new at the p1vot post played the whole season wxthout a bad pass Th1s IS a remarkable record s1nce the St John s game was played 1n nearly an 1nch of mud and water Two sets of guards alternated The first was Wllson and Keeley whose play1ng was cons1stently outstand1ng Wolf Hughes and Cramer although hampered by 1njur1es gave a good account of themselves The tackle berths went to Schllhng and McMahon block1ng and stonewall defense wrought havoc w1th the opponents McCann Edgewood s greatest pass rece1ver turned 1n a most br1ll1ant season W1ttman at the end played 1nsp1red ball and was a bulwark for defense The consolat1on of capable reserve materxal was also enjoyed McDon nell center Fleek and Daggett tackles Cox and Goeden guards performed rn great fash1on at the1r respect1ve pos1t1ons Flad and Elhs ends played ag gress1ve ball throughout the season A pony backiield composed of re serves also deserve much cred1t H1lgers the fullback a1ded by Carey and Lynaugh d1d most of the ball carry1ng W1ese at quarterback managed the team very well The Edgewood Echo Page 68 H lasik. r ' .
