D xner R ieier B Stier M Kolb V Heibl E Schadauer K E er K Doran E R1 hudson R Crowxlex The Orchestra Starting a few years ago with a group of hve violinists the Edgewood Orchestra has yearly increased in size and in value to the school When the call went out this September for new members a most enthusiastic response was given at present the orchestra 1S at the peak of its success This year it has become a full fledged organization for the members have been provided with maroon and gold uniforms and with jaunty maroon berets and caps The membership now includes players of the saxophone drum cello cornet Hute piccolo and clarinet as well as the violin The orchestra as a school organization IS fast becoming an indispens ible hxture This year it has been a steady contributor to the various school activities Evidences of expert manipulation of every instrument are vouched for by each performance Many ot these have been enjoyed by large xudiences lust the right touch was added to the Christmas plays by gradultion exercises the graduates marched in to the spirited str uns of the Sir Galahad mirch To pay due respect to the Flther of Uur Country a medley of national urs was played on his birthday At present the or chestra ls laboring enthusiastically for participation in the year s crovx ning event the lune graduation exercise lt ls ex ery Senior s ambition to walk up to the stage some night in lune to tlae strains ot the Tannhauser march We hope that in the future the ranks of the orchestra may be in creased by enthusiastic members sO that Edgevx ood may always enjoy this organi ation of which she ls justly proud Th Edgeuood Etho Pu 4 ' I 1 C l , . i ' , . , .
