The Eaglecade to Tam- pa boasted 750 exuberant Eagles, the largest group in EHS history. A Homecoming parade, gala with colorful floats done by EHS clubs, preluded a game made memorable by a glamorous queen, court and thrilling 29-13 victory over the Jax Paxon Eagles. Their spirit rode high in all other phases of EHS life. It shone in the bright, night lights of Edge- water when they burned for the many students attending club meetings. It glistened on purchases which bought the winning votes for EHS students and parents in the Pot of Gold contest, where Edge- water won the first prize of 3500. Yes, in school spirit, Edgewater Eagles do and always will fly high. To the rhythm of Wave The Flag, the Edgewater band makes their Ev formation during the Boone-Edgewater half-time show.
