Mixed Chorus consisted of fifty members which inet every Tuesday and 'I'hursday under the direction of Mrs. Betty Bielefeld. At the beginning of the year, president, Paul Pulley: vice-president. Nancy Bauer: secretary. Toni Hzintke: and treasurer, Nancy Edwards, were elected as officers. The chorus sang various selections at the mid-winter concert. After this per- formance much time was spent in rehearsal for the coming spring concert and the annual spring festival at Whitewater. Three entries that received first rating were Dale Bieck, Jerry Brown, and triple trio, consisting of Janet Holge- stad, Sharon Kopp, Gloria VVallmow, Lawanna Gunderson. Marilyn Ide, Bar- bara Haugen, Sarah Ahrensmeyer, Myrleen Plautz. and Sharon Wredberg. The band participated in a great many activities during the year. They marched for the football games, played for basketball games, and tornied a pep band to play for as- seinblies. Band inembers participated in the mid-winter eozieert. the spring concert. tne solo and ensemble tournament at Whitewater. and Music Festival, also at White'.yater. Five entries in solo and ensemble '.y'nien received first ratings were: Nancy Bauer, Karin Roang. Sylvia Shower. Roy Nelson. and Mary Giese. Officers elected by the group were: President.
