Most of the work of the Drama Club is outside of the activity hour itself. Its forty members met every Tues- day activity period. An annual all-school play was pre- sented at Christmas time called, A Child Is Born. The club was divided into three groups each present- ing a one-act play. Members of the faculty judged the participants according to their performance. The best group performance was taken to see a professional pro- duction in Madison. Members are in charge of make-up and costumes of every play produced. The participants in this activity learn about acting and the essential things that make a production possible. Advisor of this group was Mr. G. Keith Holforty, who gives his time to direct the plays. Officers elected at mid-year were: President, Jean Falligantg vice presi- dent, Faye Fischer: and secretary-treasurer, Carol Niel- son.
