student art exhibition saw uasa After being non-existant for several years, the Art Club has returned. This year those in the club enjoy participating in all-school ac- tivities. They acted as a resource for various other school groups. For example, when the fall musical, West Side Story, was coming into being, the Art Club was called on for artistic input. They have been asked to help design shirts and posters for many other organiza- tions too. They displayed art work in the com- mons for community-related activities to see. Also through the club, students were able to participate in the Lake Conference and Scholastic Arts competitions. The Art Club's greatest undertaking was the organization of a spring arts festival. The festival was an after- noon of no school which exposed students to the multi-media aspects of art. President An- drew Furber says, This lThe Art Clubl will be a unifying catalyst for all school related ac- tivities. I'm sure that it will live long and prosper. am 12:17
