Winter. Eden Prairie style. Left: Even the school has plenty of the white stuff lying around. A few more feet and the first floor will lose their view. Above: Another winter, another neighborhood lost under a pile of snow. Snow. We had enough of it. So much, in fact, we set several records for snow-fall, temperatures, and all of those other wonderful things that we associate with winter. Let Miami have their sunshine. we would rather jumpstart cars in 80 degree below zero windchills. Nothing can beat waiting out at a bus stop in that weather either. It's not all bad though. You won't find a mos- quito flying around with a parka and mittens. Snow also means skiing and hockey, not to men- tion a good excuse for some people to go to Hawaii. If you 90, please send a postcard before we all freeze.

He's Hans Chr'staTn Anderson. Backstage. cast and crew members are making last minute preparations. Weeks of work and ef- fort are at stake. The house lights dim and the au- dience quiets to a low whisper as the orchestra begins playing. The curtains open and the 1983 Eden Prairie High School musical - Hans Chris- tian Anderson is underway. The production was a true success even though a number of firsts were involved this year. A young cast, difficult dialogue, and extensive choreography made this play a real challenge to both cast and crew. People who had never danced. or acted before found themselves after school almost every day trying to quickly master these new skills. One cast member, Ann LeDuc, summed up her feelings on closing night. Everyone worked well together, but still had a fun time getting it done.
