and Marcello to Eden Prairie Marcello Acevedo came to Eden Prairie from his home in Concepcion, Chile. He arrived in the summer of 1971 and lived with the Paul Sailor family tSenior Phil Sailor was his brother'w, while at- tending our high school until graduation in the Spring of 1972. Marcello was one of 92 Chileans who came to the United States through the AFS program. Marcello found many customs to be different in the United States, and remarked particularly on the less formal American schools as compared to the Chilean schools, and the fact that girls were treated differently. He lists as his special interests tennis, soccer, rowing, parties, and girls. When asked what he thought of his stay here, Marcello replied, I enjoy the United States and would like to thank everyone for being so helpful and understanding of me.
