Cast takes a bow. JUNIOR-QENIOR PLAY OFF THE TR-ACK On November 6, 1959, a humorous play entitled Off the Track, was presented to the community of Eden Prairie. The juniors and seniors worked hard on their class play and had a lot of fun too. The setting for this play was an old, shabby railroad station. Because of a bad storm the train was derailed. The variety of people that accumulated in this station proved to be quite humorous. John Morgan, the station agent tDick Bird, and Silas Dobbins, his assistant tKurt Preblicki, have many headaches as everyone thinks they can solve all their problems. Miss Pidgie McDougal, a nosy old lady tWinnie BoydT, Evalina Bumpass tSue Fished, her fiance, Willy Woodson tPaul Andersoni, and Oscar Pozenby, an old man who,s hard of hearing tDennis NesbittT dadded a lotof laughter throughout the entire play. Three gay college girls - Flickie Nelson tMarsha Nicholsoro, Betty Phillips tSue Bensoni, and Joan Parker Uanice Dimled contributed a great deal. They are the center of romantic interest for a young lawyer, Bill Lindsay tDan Kormyloi. Mrs. Guarino, an Italian lady tEllen JohnsonT, is accused of stealing the rich Mrs. Vanderventefs pearls. Carolyn Emerson does a very good portrayal of Mrs. Vandetventer. Mrs. Guarinois three young daughters tLinda Thresher, Sue Tomlinson and Diane DredgeT add color to the stage. A lot of hard work was contributed by Barb Geiger tstudent directoo, Jeanne Doughty tgeneral managed and Bonnie Schmit tstudent assistant and prompted. Mrs. Stewart and her art department did a fine job on the scenery. Mrs. Rockwell, our advisor and director, spent many hours working on the play. She, along With the cast and stage hands, really made this play a big success.
