30 Home-coming Eden Prairie's annual home -coming an5 a very happy event this year for all of the Eden Prairieites who attended. Despite bad weather conditions, a large crowd of alumni and others gathered in the beautiiully decorated gymnasium to witness the game and coronation. The E. P. Eagles lived up to the slogan Whip Waconia, by defeating Waconia's Warriors bi-44. The B-game was also in Eden Prairie's favor with a score of 28-25. After the game the talent. show got under way with David Pavelka acting as master of ceremonies. The first act on the program was a Vocal Quintet, which included Patty Eames, Patsy Boyd, Barbara Bren, Pauline Kocourek, and Maxine Boyd. The quintet sang Goodnight Sweetheart Goodnight and Dream . Barbara Raustadt tap-danced to Basin Steet Ball and Terry Kearney sang Open Up Your Heart. '! The last act on the program was the Boys' Quartet singing Street Urchins Medley. The quartet included Bruce Bren, Burton Sutton, Lowell Timmersman and Glenn Simons. Immediately following the talent show was the highlight of the evening, the coronation. The queen, LaVonne Tobias, and the king, Burton Sutton, were crowned by Priscilla Lundberg, '54 queen, and Ben Toensing '54 graduate. Those attending the king and queen included: Dorothy Holasek and Marlin Hennen, Senior class; Dorothy Ciskovsky and Marc LeSueur, Junior class; Bonnie Kormylo and Don MacKinnon, Sophomore class; Maxine Boyd and Jim Balianz, Freshman class; Beverly Chapman and Darrell Larson, eighth grade; and bloise Gilbert and Brent Roaderick, seventh grade. Little Marion Stumo and Timothy Labatt were the crownbearers tor the king and queen. Louis Johnson and his musicians played tor the dance which followed the coronation.
