Class History As we draw closer to the end of our school days, we stop for awhile to conside r- some of the things school has meant to us. It has meant both work and play, but it also has had a greater meaning. We have received the experience, knowledge, and training which will enable us to go on to better things. When we think back on our previous school days, we remember the first time we met twelve years ago, as nervous and shy youngsters entering the first grade. There were sixteen of us that first year. Of these sixteen only three remain with us; they are LaVonne Tobias, Kenneth Anderson and Dorothy Holasek. The. other membersiof the class were Marian Clark, Lee Seek, David Penney, Larry Blakeborough, Elvera Peterson, Alan Reed, Marietta Reed, LaVonne Kling, Gary Kostecka, Alice Miller and Richard Miller. Our second grade found us with five new members, Mary Ann Clitty, Douglas Hathaway, RobertErissell, Nancy Savidge, and John Shannon. We lost Lee Seck,A1ice Miller and Richard Miller. In the third grade we lost only two of our classmates, Robert Erissell and Nancy Savidge. Bette Shaver, Jane Leary, Barbara and Beatrice Nelson and John Leonard were the additions to our fourth grade class. Our fifth year found us with three new members, Glenn Simons, Burton Sutton and Donald Peterson. Bette Shaver left us this year. By the time the class reached the sixth year, it had lost Alan Reed, Marietta Reed and Mary Ann Clitty. We gained Lowell Timmersman, Mary Lou Garrison and Wade Strout. In the seventh grade Carol Brunkhorst, Lorraine Haakinson and Karen Sorensen were the three additions to the class. Wade Strout and John Leonard left us that year. Bette Shaver joined our class in the eighth grade and Lowell Timmersman left. The Freshman class gained three new members, Ray Mitchell, Marlin Hennen and Stanley Riegert. In our Sophomore year Barbara and Beatrice Nelson were our two losses. Louise Knosalla, Bill Knosalla and Nancy Ferguson were our three additions. Our Junior year found us with two additions, Lowell Timmersman, and Lucretia Whitney. Our final year of high school finds us with only a dozen classmates. We have lost Louise and Bill Knosalla of our Junior year, but we still have Lowell Timmersman, Stanley Riegert, Lucretia Whitney, Dorothy Holasek, Ray Mitchell, Kenneth Anderson, LaVonne Tobias, Karen Sorensen, Burton Sutton, Glenn Simons, Mary Lou Garrison and Marlin Hennen. 13
