Miss Riley, a former EHS graduate, has been head Of the band for the past Z years. The officers, chosen by the band members, govern the band and its activities throughout the school year. They are from left to right: Vice-Pres.--Patsy Spillerg Treasurer--Patsy Beauchamp, Reporter-- Verna Lois Sessonig and Presideiit--Mary Ann Lubl-ie. Having performed for lO football games half-time activities this past year, they continually delighted the spectators as in the photo which reveals the traditional hi formation. The LHS Band plays at each pep rally of the football season. They traveled to Brady and San Angelo to attend the Band Festivals. Here they performed as a marching group, and also as individuals. They were drilled with the band and practiced new yells throughout the week--then performed during halftime at the games. Their Sponsor, Mrs. Browning, accompanied them on the trips and chaperoned at the end-of-season slum- ber party for the girls.
