B11 glzt and Early jrnsb COMPLETING the first order of knighthood, the Freshmen observe their shield. Upon it they have engraved symbols of victories they have gained in three years of junior high school adventures. Even before they enter high school that shield is well emblaz' oned. For school work they record the two plays produced in English class. The girls looked well in Alice Blue Gown and the boys did a handsome job in A Close Shave. The English pupils also made an extensive study of careers and prepared talks and booklets on them. The athletic symbol signifies the work of Clifford Brock' man and Richard Thompson on the varsitv basketball team and of a large number of their classmates who were jayvees. Orches' tra, band, and chorus were sustained by the talents of many students, and Donna Knight played in the dance band. A well decorated shield is theirs to carry on. TOP- At board: J. Bauer, R.
