Board Of Education The Eden Central School Board has endeavored to fulfill its obligations faithfully and conscientiously. The Eden Central building will be completed and ready for occupation by September 1940. Much of the credit for bringing this project to its final satisfactory consummation must be given to Mr. H. J. McCauley, president of the board. His broad business experience and excellent judgment have been of incalculable value in overcoming many of the problems coincident with an enterprise of this character. The school board is cognizant and appreciative of the true significance of popular education to fit our youth to meet the many problems of our democratic government. Many facilities for social and educa- tional activities will be available to adults also. The school board is fully aware of its responsibilities for both the adequacy and the cost of operating the Eden Central School, and will make every effort to use its best judgment in the selection of competent executives who can be entrusted with the actual management of all school activities., We have every reason to believe that our school board will successfully complete the task it has under- taken with credit to itself and to the future welfare and prosperity of Eden.
